Idaho Stable Isotopes Laboratory
ISIL is located in the Department of Forest Resources at the University of Idaho's College of Natural Resources in Moscow, Idaho.
We provide stable isotopic analyses to departments and colleges at U Idaho for student and faculty research. Our applications range from tree physiology to nutritional food-web studies, while the biogeochemical possibilities are virtually endless. We also provide service and support to our local neighbors at Washington State University, as well as other external clients and private consultants, universities, and government agencies. We are continuing to develop our facility and its capabilities in order to support your natural resource research.
Two graduate students are currently being sought for assistance in a collaborative research project involving the ecophysiology and population ecology of invasive, exotic forbs in sagebrush steppes of Idaho . See here for more information.
