Teaching Assistantships Remote Sensing & GIS Research
Research and Teaching assistantships are available for persons interested in pursuing a graduate degree in the College of Natural Resources with a specialization in remote sensing and GIS. The number and availability are dependent on the status of current and future research projects and current teaching opportunities. The Research Unit is interested in recruiting individuals with an excellent background in forest ecosystem analysis or other traditional natural resource management fields. Particularly those interested in pursuing a Ph.D.
Opportunities to learn about and utilize advanced tools and techniques exist within our state-of-the-art remote sensing and GIS laboratory. Coursework and critical mass also exist on campus to provide the opportunity for a well-rounded graduate education and scientific advancement.
