"Per sample" rate includes d15N, d13C, %N and %C plus data processing for each sample. ("d" should be lower-case Greek letter delta for all isotope ratio designations)
"Balance time" refers to weighing and packing of individual sample material into Sn-foil cups, which are then loaded into the EA autosampler.
The "complete prep" rate includes sample material oven or freeze-drying, grinding, balance time and analysis.

To submit samples, please contact us to make scheduling arrangements and receive instructions. For certain materials, special considerations must be made prior to weighing in order to select the appropriate amount. If you do choose to pack your own, please use a 96-well, non-sterile, cell plate and record sample ID and weights (3-decimal places in mg) according to our cell-plate log. Please note the detailed instructions on that sheet for sample ID. Also, for all submissions, please complete the ISIL Authorization Form and send it to our address with your samples. Please request an e-mail attachment of these forms if they don't download.
