2007 Bleak Interns used pack mules and backpacks to access wilderness wolf packs to conduct wolf reproduction surveys with Jim Akenson.

Four 8-week old wolf pups from the Golden Pack were observed at a rendezvous site, including these 2 pups.


A helicopter delivers an Idaho Dept. Fish and Game fish screw trap for research to the TRFS airstrip. 


The screw trap will be used to mark fish and study migration and survival of anadromous steelhead and Chinook salmon.


Javan Bauder, ISU Master student, is studying rattlesnake movements and habitat use in steep terrain. 


Dr. Chuck Peterson and Javan surgically implant transmiters in the snakes to monitor their movements.


McCall High School Environmental Science Class visited Taylor Ranch Field Station spring 2007.
